How Does it Work?

How can you do it in 3-5 days?

We have tried smoke and mirrors but that didn’t work. So after some clever thinking, we do what nearly every accountant does to lodge your tax return (we just do it better), but then we trust our judgement and offer you an advance on your refund.

We need to make a few checks to do this, that’s why it can take 3-5 days, but if it all checks out, we offer you an advance on your Tax Refund.

What if I have a debt?

If you have a debt to a government department, like the Tax Office, Centrelink, or the Family Assistance Office, they will generally recover your debt from your tax refund and send you the difference. If you know you have a debt, let us know. We may be able to help sort it out and make an arrangement. We can also issue an advance on the balance of your refund, but this might take a day or two longer.

So what does it cost?

A basic return costs $66. If you have lots of claims and we need to do a bit more work, it may cost a bit more, but not too much. If you have an investment  property, a small business, car claims etc, our charges will be a bit more than that. We'll advise you before we lodge.

Does it cost more to get a 3-Day Refund?

Yes it does. We pass on our costs to you for this: 7.7% of the refund amount.
(for example a $500 refund will cost you an extra $38.50).

It’s your decision to pay this extra fee to avoid waiting for the ATO to issue your refund. If you prefer to wait for the ATO to process the return, this usually takes about 2 weeks, but you only pay our basic charge.
